  • hi erica is it when you scroll down then you see the menu

    erica your site is very slow,
    can i give you some advice to speed it up

    remove one of the two logos in customizer.

    to speed up your site:

    • go to
    • go to your site and go to plugins
      <p> then go to add new, search for JCH Optimize, install it and apply the necessary settings according to your needs, then refresh your page and the website.</p>
    • then retest your site with gtmetrix and see if there is any difference
    • if there is not huge difference install BWP Minify and apply the necessary settings
    • go and retest your site
    • you should see a difference

      I emailed you and I facebook you
      Let me know if you struggle
      I will be back on office Monday 22 February
      Kind Regards

    @preventgerhard, I really did mean it when I asked you not to contact people.

    navigate to the bottom of your site, at the footer there is a link to zerif pro theme, i can remove that for you.

    i also did it at my site i designed it my self:
    [Link redacted]

    and many other cool stuff, i changed like colours and order of sections and added another footer contact section for fax.

    Kind Regards

    @preventgerhard, You must be in the wrong thread, this is the ‘responsiveboat’ theme and not ‘zerif-lite’.

    It sounds like you’re using these forums to solicit work.

    andrew responsive boat is a child theme of zerif lite so the files needed for responsive boat depends on zerif lite

    @erica_pro,
    If you’re not using a Child Theme, and if the theme doesn’t have a designated section of the dashboard for CSS modifications then do the following:

    1. Install this Custom CSS Manager plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin
    2. use its “CSS Code” section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications:
    3. (put this code in)

      @media screen and (max-width: 768px) {
          .navbar-brand > img {
              display: none;
          }
      }
    4. Save

    Alternatively use your Child Theme style.css file to hold your CSS modifications

    she uses the child theme

    Apologies for the stock answer, it allows me to answer CSS questions in 1 post without tip-toeing around Child Theme setups.

    Thanks Andrew, the custom CSS solved my issue
