Support » Plugin: WP-Members Membership Plugin » Two Lists on One Page – Both React to “Next”

  • Resolved trevorstokes

I have two lists on the same page. One is for our complete list of members (ca. 170), the other is for directors and officers (ca. 20).
If I click “Next Page” on one, then both change when the page is reloaded.
I suppose this is because there’s only the one variable for $listpage.

It’s on a members only page, so I can not provide a link.

Not a show stopper – I can have them on different pages, and I’m developing my own plugin to merge with a lot of other related tables of my own on the same DB.

Since I know you are a premium support subscriber, let me note that if you have an issue with the plugin, you should contact me through the support site. Because of the breadth of popularity of the plugin, my time is focused on premium support. While I handle issues in the forums as time allows, I simply cannot be here as much so your issue may not get noticed for awhile.

Additionally, the extensions (such as the User List you are referring to) are not available on, so support issues specific to them should be handled at

I suppose this is because there’s only the one variable for $listpage.

Yes, that’s the surface reason. A little deeper explanation is that the extension does use WP’s pagination functions and you can’t paginate two queries on the same page. Perhaps more technically, “I can’t” – it may be possible in a custom situation where there are additional query strings passed to specify the which query is being moved forward a page. But it’s not something I’ve done. You’ve got me thinking about it though (as often happens) so I’ve noted it on my “idea lab list” for future research.
