  • Hi, i have a site running on wordpress, but the blog is running on a separate installation of wordpress. is it possible for me to have the content of one site automatically update on the other?

lets say i add a comment sitemain.com/?p=1 – can that comment automatically appear on subsite.com/?p=1

Also, i’d like for the two sites to share the same header / footer / sidebar, is that possible as well?

    PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks,
    Sagar

  • My two sites “share the same header” by running identical copies (other than the name) of my Child Theme, and yes, there are folks here who can tell you how sites can be inter-connected.

Im not expert but i think that is very hard.Maybe you can use feed from main site and set in blog as rss article if you want to be seen article but with comments idk.Reason is every instalation have different database
and every post have different ID so i think you cant sincronise two different instalation to use same ID of post and comments..That would break your site.Maybe someone will explain better than me.
