INstalled plugin, and am now getting two round author photos instead of one next to their byline. Not sure where to find how to turn one of them off.

    Thanks.

I had to disable the plugin due to the issue. Screen capture can be seen here: https://sixersfrontoffice.net/capture-20/

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out about that!
I checked your site and I can confirm that the issue seems to be solved – what plugin did you disable?

I see from my end that Jetpack still looks connected, although with connection error. To fix that, can you disconnect Jetpack, then temporarily deactivate your other plugins, and try to connect again?
You can disconnect by clicking on the Jetpack link in your site’s Dashboard, then scroll down to find the Connections area. Click the “Manage site connection” link where your site is listed. Then, click the red Disconnect button.

Then once the other plugins are disabled, reconnect clicking the blue button that says “Connect Jetpack”.

Let us know how that goes, and we’ll be here to help out if you’re still having issues.

    Thanks!

I actually had to disable the JetPack plugin in order for it to go away. Once I activate the plugin, the problem returns. Perhaps the avatar is also a part of the Gridlove theme that I’m using, though I haven’t yet found a place to turn it off there.

    Hi there,

Jetpack has a Content Options feature which can be used to make small changes to your theme’s display, including the author byline, from the Customizer. It should only make a difference if support for this feature has specifically been added to your theme. It’s possible this is the case for your theme, but that it’s not implemented correctly.

Please contact support for your theme directly to check on that.
