Support » Plugin: Photoswipe Masonry Gallery » Two Images In Theatre When Clicking On Thumbnails

  • Hi,

    I just installed Photoswipe from WordPress Plugins section at the backend of my website and the gallery looks great. Love it and looks great with my theme. Nice and clean, but for some reason when you click on a thumbnail to open in theatre mode, there are two images, one larger image pops up behind the other. Not sure why thats happening so would like to know if there is a fix. I have disabled most plugins to be sure that none are conflicting with your plugin but that doesn’t seem to have solved the problem?

    I would like to change the background of the theatre to white which I’m aware can be done in photoswipe.css, but where do I change the opacity so that users can see through to the page behind so they know they are opened up in some type of lightbox? Also what settings exactly would I use to have a slight opacity?

    To see the problem go to:

    valeriejefferies.com

    The gallery is on that home page.

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi,

    Did you fix the double image issue? It’s looking good to me.

    There is only one skin available at this point. It shouldn’t be too hard to make a white version. I’ll look at doing this as an option in the next version.

    bgOpacity can be set in photoswipe-masonry.php until I add it as an option.
    From line 505 update

    // define options (if needed)
    options = {
    index: index,
    bgOpacity: 0.7,

    See http://photoswipe.com/documentation/options.html

    Of course you will loose these customisations when you update.

    I hope that helps.

    ~Dean
