• Greetings,

Via the dashboard, I go to Appearance -> Menus. I blow up the Pages item and select the View All tab. All of my menu items are listed there… including two named Home. Both were created before I inherited the RTO-PA website. I have access to one, can edit it, and can even rename it. I currently have it named Home because it is the one I have showing on the website and to name it anything different would be confusing to those visiting. It is accessible the same way as I access the About, Schedule, and Contact pages.

There remains another Home in the menu. Although I can twiddle with various settings and make it the page that is seen when visitors come to http://rto-pa.com, I cannot access it for editing. (It is not listed Pages -> All Pages section.) Since this particular Home page says things that are years out of date and would give visitors to the site a totally wrong impression about our orchestra, I do not dare let it show. However, if I could edit it, I’d like to make it the Home page and delete the one I can access. How do I access this mysterious Home page for editing? How is this unaccessible Home different from the editable Home that I currently have showing?

    Cheers,

    Bill

    Hi kjodle,

I cannot access it for editing and do not know it’s URL. When I meddle with the account settings, the offending home page shows at http://rto-pa.com but that does not allow me to edit it and I do not want what it says to show to the publie, especially since I received many kudos at orchestra rehearsal last week on what a fine job I’ve done at sprucing up and updating the website.

    Cheers,

    Bill
