    Hi,

I’ve messed up something, which I remember reading about somewhere but can’t find what I did! I have 2 menu items on my pages (horizontal menus) which show HOME – this is the first page of my site. Both links work and both take me to the correct home page, but obviously, I don’t want two menu items on each page showing the home page.

Can anyone assist please? It’s something to do with slugs I think but I have tried deleting the slug “home” to no effect.

    Cheers

  • Depending on your theme, there may be different ways to correct this. The article below is a good starting point. If that does not help, do a Google search on ‘wordpress two home links’ to find other solutions.

    Thank you so much.

I’ve hidden the page under another page (as a child) and it works. I’ve now got to work out how to stop the child link being shown on the drop down – but that’s not importatnt.

    Thank you so much again.
