• Notification subscription is not automatic when a user clicks on the “POST COMMENT” button, once you enter e-mail, you have to click the green button in the subscription bar in order to subscribe, separate from posting a comment.

There is currently no option to change the value of the subscription submit button from “>” to some custom text. It would be nice to be able to change this to something custom, for example “Subscribe.”

Clicking in the box to type a comment, the “Join the conversation…” or “Start a conversation” message disappears automatically, as intended. However, when clicking in the box to type a comment REPLY, the “Join the conversation…” message doesn’t disappear and must be manually removed by the user.

    Hi brandon.w

Sometimes people need to subscribe comments without posting comment, so this logic is correct for both cases. There is a subscribe to this comment option too, it’s located in comment form.

Sure, we’ll add an option for this in next releases.

This is not wpDiscuz issue, you can check it here: http://wpdiscuz.com/wpdiscuz-3-0-0/
wpDiscuz uses simple placeholders, it seems your theme or some plugins adds JS Placeholders to all form fields and they do it on comment form as well. And they do it incorrect (maybe have some errors). So we have nothing to fix here.

I investigated further, this is only happening on Internet Explorer 11 and is also happening on the test URL you gave me: http://wpdiscuz.com/wpdiscuz-3-0-0/

Ok, thank you for this info, we’ll test it on IE 11.
