# Two Factor Authentication

 * I can’t seem to get the following message to “go away”, even after clicking the
   link in the confirmation e-mail:
 * > Before completing activation of email-based two-factor authentication we need
   > you to confirm your site can send emails.
   >  Please click the link in the email
   > you received.The email has been sent to you at blog admin address: [info@domain.tld](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/two-factor-authentication-1/info@domain.tld?output_format=md)
   > To have this email resent, re-save your Login Protection settings. To turn 
   > this notice off, disable Two Factor authentication.
 * Any ideas?

 * I had a suspicion about this problem when it was raised elsewhere briefly. I 
   tracked down that bug and the fixed has been released with update version 4.7.6.
 * You may need to click that link in the email again once you’ve upgraded.
