Two Emails

Thanks for your message.

BNFW shouldn’t send an email out twice unless you’ve set it up to do so.

Some social plugins hook into the publish action on a new post or page and have been known to cause conflicts with BNFW. It’s worth investigating any of these that you may have installed to see if this is the cause of your problem. If you don’t have any installed, let me know.

You can change the From and To details of certain notifications. I recommend checking out the ‘Additional Email Fields’ section of this documentation page for details: https://betternotificationsforwp.com/documentation/notifications/adding-a-new-notification/

Thanks for the screenshot.

When I say ‘unless you’ve set it up to do so’, i’m referring to the ability to create multiple notifications for the same thing.

I’m fairly sure the issue you’re experiencing is due to a conflict with another plugin. Please can you make your way through this document and let me know how you get on?
