Two domains on same Host, possible crossover issue (6 posts)

    I have a mate who has created two sites using WordPress, his host is 1and1 and I think he has entered an incorrect domain name somewhere. Basically http://www.edgarroofing.co.uk is flirting over to http://www.edgarroofing.com, which is an American company.

    Now, I don't know a great deal about this error (if in fact it is an error at all), but if I try to log into http://www.edgarroofing.co.uk/wp-admin, it automatically diverts me to .com and tells me it cant display.

    Looks a right mix up - anyone know of this trouble ?

  2. http://www.edgarroofing.co.uk/ works.... Except for where he has things set as localhost.

    View source.

    That's wrong ;)

    I agree, but if you click on one of the links, it takes you to .com site:

    View Source:

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.edgarroofing.com/wp-content/themes/ecopro/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />
    <style type="text/css">

    I need to get into the admin to change where he has put .com and replace with .co.uk, this takes you onto some guys site in USA.

  4. I ... don't see that.

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="http://www.edgarroofing.co.uk/wp-content/themes/ecopro/style.css" type="text/css" media="screen" />

    In fact, I view source and don't see a single .com link.

    Links take me to co.uk as expected/

    Thanks but I solved the problem, I edited the wp-config.ph file to include this:

  6. You may want to search through your database, and see if the bad URL is lurking there, then.
