Simply Instagram
Two different viewers on top of each other (5 posts)

I installed Simply Instagram and the widget is showing fine on my website. However, when I click on one photo, it opens two different types of viewers on top of each other. So when I click to close the first there's another one underneath. How can I fix this?

Much probably because of conflicts in scripting. Can I see your site?

Thanks for that. Here's what I found out on your site. My plugin slideshow is using PrettyPhoto which is a clone from Lightbox. Same thing happens to your Pinterest Lightbox. Both are cloned from same source and have same functionality( or rather I say same method of displaying slideshow ).

Here's the problem. Pinterest Lightbox will be triggered on all images based on anchor tag that has image extension( jpeg, png etc.) without specific identifier, thus when you click on instagram photos, PL will run at the back of PrettyPhoto.

Please take a look at your javascript code inside head tag to see what I'm talking about.

I don't know if you prefer this solution as it will break some functionality in my plugin but since your site has used to PL plugin, I think this will be the best option for you.

Kindly put into comment all javascript code in simply-instagram-widget.php on line 560 - 566.

Simply Instagram will still display your images in widget but Pinterest Lightbox will take over on slideshow module.

Let me know how it works.

I'm afraid this is a little bit out of my league. I'm not very familiar with Java code. I found this empty box in WordPress where I can add custom Javascript. Can you tell me what text I should literally put here? Thanks. (By the way, I do indeed prefer the Pinterest layout).
