    I prefer my 404 to have two columns to reduce scrolling. Is there a setting I can change or add?

    Hi there!
    Thanks for your feedback!

    What you want to do is quite easy to achieve:

    1st alternative:
    Create a new page, then add via Genesis column classes your 2-column content.

    Then, add via "Genesis Featured Page" widget just this page to the 404 widget area.

    If you have TinyMCE (Wysiwyg Editor) active then you can also use this comfortable plugin to add the columns via buttons: http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-easy-columns/

    2nd alternative:
    Just use a text widget and there add the Genesis column classes 2 column version and then add your content there.

    This alternative requires HTML code for the columns (same, if you have TinyMCE disabled in 1st alternative):

    Just use this HTML code for the text widget and/or page and place your content in where it says "...your content goes here..."

    <div class="one-half first">
    ...your content for 1st column goes here...
    <div class="one-half">
    ...your content for 2nd column goes here...
    <div class="clear"></div>

    Hope that helps!

    I am happy to assist if you have any further questions.

    Thanks, Dave :)
