    hello everyone,

thanks for taking a look at my post. my test site http://tinyurl.com/dmswec has two blogs on it. the first one is called “to do” and is the main page of the site. the second one is called “blog” and is the office blog for our company.

the problem that I’m running into is when you are on the “blog” section, and click into a story, the slider in the nav bar goes over to the “to do” link. I would like for it to stay on blog.

I’m assuming this has something to do with the permalink structure, but I have been unsuccessful in finding out how to correctly structure them.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks!

you should have an .htaccess for each install in each installs root

try generating permalinks for each blog

    hello samboll,

thanks for your reply. I actually just have one install of wordpress. The index.php file is functioning as main blog and the blog.php is functioning as the office blog.

I wouldn’t have to have multiple instances of .htaccess in this case correct?

    thank you.

    Hello Samboll,

thanks for your reply. do you have any suggestions as to how to get the nav bar to stay highlighted on “blog” when viewing posts, rather than have it slide over to the “to do” in the nav bar?

    thank you
