• I’m looking for a way to show my twitter tweets & retweets in the main sidebar.
Unfortunately, SSL is blocking all images. Is there a way to get around it ?

    Installed Plugin:
    – SSL Insecure Content Fixer
    – Custom Twitter Feeds

Or is there any other workaround ?
    Many thanks

I have no such problems using Jetpack’s twitter widget. You might give it a try.

If you want to stick with your existing plugin, I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/custom-twitter-feeds#new-post so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.

    Thank you for the tipps.
I wasn’t able to use jetpack, cause jetpack requires an wordpress.com account. I don’t like to use my personal account for my business page…

I’ve tried loads of twitter widgets now. Just to show my timeline on my WP site – I have even created an twitter developer account for API key & Token, but they all have some display bugs (even with SSL security turned off) The few pworking plugins come with really horrible layout. 🙁

But thanks for your link! I’ve asked in the forum. May some one will know a workaround, as the “custom twitter feeds” plugin has still the best visuals.
