• I have

    {POST_TITLE}
    {PERMALINK}

    in Message format for posting;

    but the URL/slug that gets posted is not actually linked so the Tweet is not really linked w/o the follower having to manually copying the url.

    Also – not sure if it matters, but within the website Soc Media Auto Publish Twitter settings, I still have this notification above:

    Note : You have to create a Twitter application before filling in following fields.
    Click here to create new application. Specify the website for the application as : https://mysite.com
    In the twitter application, navigate to Settings > Application Type > Access. Select Read and Write option.
    After updating access, navigate to Details > Your access token in the application and click Create my access token button.
    For detailed step by step instructions Click here.

    Should not this warning be displayed if I have the application ready and filled out?
    Any help appreciated!

  • Hello doylegirl,
    Please check your message format, and provide space before and after the {permalink} format.And also make sure that the max character length is 140,so that your link will appear as it is.
    The Note is set after the requests of clients for the ease of use.
    Thank you for your feedback .

    Thank you for the response!

    I have made the adjustments to around the permalink. Characters were at 117 so that should not have had any impact on the error. I will try again with my next blog post.

    Thanks
    Melissa
