Twitter timeline not shown in sidebars

When I put a Twitter timeline widget (Jetpack) in the right or left sidebars, tweets are loaded, I can see them briefly, but quickly the whole widget area becomes white.

Surprisingly, it works correctly if I put the widget in the footer areas.

I would really appreciate any help.
