    Hi,

I use Yoast plugin, and it’s on page settings for Social Share as well.

For some reasons Twitter shae is giving a hard time – I have Twitter title, description and image added in through Yoast. But it is not picking up on any of these settings when test-sharing a page/post, and just posts randomly picked up information from a page or image.

I tried testing on different browsers as well as in mobile – nothing works.

What could be an issue? I’d assume we just enter information, upload image, update page and all should be working fine. No?

Interestingly, my Twitter seems to now have started updating. It now posts correct contents. Maybe it takes time in Yoast to update that information? I noticed it would take a day for that info to be updated.

However, the issue is now with Facebook share. If I update info to social share through Yoast, sometimes it would start showing the correct details after a day, or so. But in some cases, it does not do anything at all.

Like this post, for example – http://canifail.com/work-speed-and-work-faster-or-skills-and-focus/ – title and excerpt of this page can be seen on http://canifail.com/journey/ but if to try sharing this post on Facebook, it pulls completely different image & information, god knows from where! For both, Featured Image and Yoast Social Share image I have selected the same one. Same goes with excerpt/description.

Then where is wrong info coming from in Yoast??

    Hi,
