Twitter adds cards by itself based on special metatags and only for approved domains. Are you asking why Twitter can’t grab an image from affiliate URL? We can’t answer that, only Twitter tech support can. * SNAP just gives the URL to Twitter. That’s it. Twitter takes the URL and internally generates a Twitter Card for it. Only they can tell you why it’s not working.
