    Hi
I have these warnings from SSO popup that won’t go away:

SSO Warning: Possible conflict detected – your theme or another plugin is adding a meta name=”twitter:card” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

SSO Warning: Possible conflict detected – your theme or another plugin is adding a meta name=”twitter:description” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

SSO Warning: Possible conflict detected – your theme or another plugin is adding a meta name=”twitter:title” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

SSO Warning: Possible conflict detected – your theme or another plugin is adding a meta name=”twitter:site” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

SSO Warning: Possible conflict detected – your theme or another plugin is adding a meta name=”twitter:domain” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

SSO Warning: Possible conflict detected – your theme or another plugin is adding a meta name=”twitter:creator” HTML tag to the head section of this webpage.

I do not know where this is coming from. I checked all other plugins that might conflict and cause these error and as far as I can see nothing is conflicting. I even checked the sitemap. The other thing to is I haven’t got the pro version of wpsso yet that allows for twitter card meta data to be configured and setup. So why are these warnings showing up? If this is a bug could you provide a fix please?

If you can provide a URL to an example page/post, I can certainly have a look.

    Thanks,

My guess is that you have a plugin or service removing HTML comments from your webpages. WPSSO looks for these HTML comments to remove it’s own meta tags before checking for duplicates. I’ve modified that behavior a little bit to address these kinds of situations, so you should find that v3.0.2 no longer gives you those warnings. 😉

Yes, the warnings are gone now since v3.0.2. Thanks for your help
