Twitter Image will not Validate

    Hello there,

    I have tried countless plugins and found yours to be my last attempt. No matter what I do I cannot get the twitter card to validate and no matter what I do I cannot get the twitter image to be found. It always reverts to the og_image.

    I have tested in both the twitter card check where the logs are green but specify the wrong card type, saying just summary and no image.

    and at https://socialsharepreview.com/ It says the twitter image cannot be found. Please test both locations so we are on the same page unless of course you notice anything in the source code on the website.

    the robots.txt is also set to allow twitterbot.

    Can you please help me get this working. I am at my wits end..

    Hi,

    You can preview the Twitter card at the link https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
    If you still face any issues, let me know the URL of that specific web page of your website.

    What? If you read the above it says I already tested it in both places.. It says it won’t validate. Not sure why you would tell me to validate it and let you know if I have any more problems.. it also indicated the website in the post.. ????

    I validated the web page https://gumdropgoblins.com/windows-11/ which doesn’t have any images. That’s why I asked for the specific URL of your website where you are facing issues with showing image after sharing it on Twitter.

    every page. In your code it speciifies an OG_image and a twitter image: It should not matter what page or post you test the code from your plugin exists in the post. Therefore should not twitter see the image link in the code? It’s there..

    Try using <meta name="twitter:image:src".... instead of <meta name="twitter:image".... if you can customize these tags.

    If this doesn’t help, add <meta name="twitter:image:width" and <meta name="twitter:image:height" tags too.

    I can’t add anything the damn plugin is suppose to do it all.. What the hell is going on here.. Do you people know your own plugin?

    The meta tags in the HTML source of your website do not belong to this plugin. You would like to check if this plugin is active.

    Thanks for the help but I went with another plugin that now validates twitter card checker.
