Twitter Feed does not show

Hi,

I’ve created an application in Twitter and retrieved the necessary credentials (i.e. Consumer key, Consumer secret etc.) for the application. I’ve also created the Access Token and retrieved those details – I’ve changed no further settings in Twitter.

I’ve then installed (and activated) the plugin and added the necessary credentials to the plugin (i.e. Consumer key, Consumer secret, access token, access token secret etc.).

I’ve then placed the plugin into my sidebar and inserted the necessary details (i.e. username without “@” etc.) but the feed still does not display. However, I can see the “Latest Tweets” heading as this is being pulled through.

Please can anyone help?

I’ve since upgraded the WP version to 3.5.1 and the plugin still does not work 🙁

Hi,

You may have a javascript issue on your page or a non compatible theme. Can you give us a link to your web site and tell us what WordPress theme you are using.

Hi,

I’m having a similar issue, upgraded to the latest version of the plugin, entered in Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, Token etc. But no tweets are being pulled through to the site, the URL is http://www.suzuki-method.co.uk/

Hi Mark,

There are 3 javascript error on your page. I think it may be the probléme. You have a error from a previous twitter plugin i think. Try to deactivate other twitter plugins that you don’t use anymore.

Hi,

thanks, I’ve removed the Twitter plugins that weren’t being used but still no joy. I can see a JS error in Chromes Console Uncaught ReferenceError: twitter is not defined

Hi,

That is the error :

XMLHttpRequest cannot load http://suzuki-method.co.uk/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php. Origin http://www.suzuki-method.co.uk is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Origin.

The plugin need to access to this files. I don’t know why you have that error.

Your probleme is the subdomain www
if you go to http://suzuki-method.co.uk/ it works

suzuki-method.co.uk should redirect to www.suzuki-method.co.uk
and in your WordPress admin the site domain should be www.suzuki-method.co.uk
