It use to work perfectly fine until 4.3 update, I believe I’m not the only one seeing this. Under“ Contact Info”, WordPress core does have fields to configure your social networks including a Twitter field. In this field, you should also only use your username without a full URL or @ sign. * These field values can then be used by themes or plugins. They are independent of the Yoast SEO setting under SEO → Social. * If you have other fields that need a full URL in your profile, then they are coming from a plugin or your theme, but not from Yoast SEO.
