Hi there:
Twitter looks for Open Graph (OG) meta tags to produce the Twitter card data. Looking at your site’s source, you don’t have any OG tags being generated.
Jetpack will automatically create these tags for you unless you use another plugin, in which case we let the other plugin handle things and disable our tags.
It looks like you have the Shareaholic plugin installed, which is one that we will disable tag generation for. You can do the following to fix this:
– Disable and delete Shareaholic and let Jetpack generate your OG tags.
or
– Check the Shareaholic settings and ensure that it’s generating OG tags.
That should take care of this for you. Let me know if you still have this problem and I’ll be happy to take a closer look.

I checked http://passionsandplaces.com/2017/09/26/a-koh-chang-travel-guide-for-getting-off-the-beaten-path/ in the Twitter validator, and it validated.
I can confirm the same – and I do see the Shareaholic meta tags being generated in your page source now.
It looks like you may have fixed the issue?
We highly recommend using a good SEO plugin that takes care of Open Graph tags if you don’t have one already.
If you don’t want to install yet another plugin, you can use this plugin a colleague of mine wrote to force Jetpack to generate the OG meta tags:

@shareaholic: TIL! Thanks for clarifying. 🙂
Thanks so much to both of you for your responses, I really appreciate it. I actually haven’t made any changes since I posted this, so I have no idea why it started working again but am glad that it did. Thank you!
