Twitter card image distortion

    I find that my “featured images” don’t display well in Twitter cards (Summary Card with Large Image), the meta tags for which are being generated by Yoast SEO. Often, the image will appear too large on Twitter. For example, if it is a picture of a person, the image appears so enlarged that top half of their head will be cut off.

    Twitter says “Images for this Card support an aspect ratio of 2:1 with minimum dimensions of 300×157 or maximum of 4096×4096 pixels. Images must be less than 5MB in size. JPG, PNG, WEBP and GIF formats are supported.”

    Has anyone else had this problem and resolved it?
