Twitter button replace code

  • I have a custom theme and I’m trying to update the code for the ‘follow’ twitter button in the footer. Where should I be placing this code, in which directory file? I see that there is no ‘index.html’ file in my server directory, so which php file should contain this? And can I add html code to one of these files to update the twitter button?

    Thanks.

  • Hi daphnisnerii

I would look at the widgets page under “Apprearance” to see if there is a widget area’s inside the footer and if it has widgets assigned to it. One of the widgets might be the twitter widget.

Secondly I would look inside the footer.php file.

    Regards
