  • @nickvdp: Thanks for pointing it out. We are investigating on the issue. We will have an update on this as soon as possible.

@nickvdp: It seems like a conflict with hubspot plugin which adds a js method in the share code. Try disabling hubspot check if the issue exists.

I am having a similar problem at http://www.InternationalCitizens.com/blog/ Any advice?

@joefromboston: Do you have hubspot plugin installed?

The problem remains after turning off the Hubspot plugin.

Also, I have installed the Addthis follow me plugin which also doesn’t work.

    Any idea’s/suggestions?

I’m having the same problem and it appears to be related to IE7. It works fine in Firefox, Chrome, IE11.

I have not been able to trace where the bitly.toJson is being added, but it seems to be JavaScript related since there is no toJson reference in the page source code that is generated.

Discovered this on a new WP site I created, but I also maintain an older WP site using AddThis and the twitter button used to work, but now that a new version of AddThis is active, it too has the same problem. (I don’t know when that might have started, since didn’t go to look at it until saw this with the new site.)

New site is http://www.nanrussell.com – go to Blog page to see AddThis usage.

@nickvdp: Is it still occurring? I was able to tweet from your url with out an issue. Please let us know if the issue remains.

@dansrussell I will have it checked in IE7 and will update here.

Everything’s working now. I must admit that I don’t recall what I have changed to make it work though.

Anyhow, many thanks for your support. I appreciate that!

@nickvdp: Good to hear it is working for you! If you are able to figure out what was changed, it is highly appreciated to share it here for other users with same issue.

@dansrussell: In IE7, I can see some javascript errors which is blocking our plugin. The issue will be fixed once you can rectify those JS errors (which are not from Share plugin)
