# Twitter Button Gone

 * The Twitter button on [my site](http://herpackinglist.com/2011/12/ultimate-female-travel-packing-lists/)
   has been missing for a couple of weeks. I’ve tried disabling, enabling, etc. 
   with no change. It’s just the Twitter button. Even in the backend, it doesn’t
   show up in the live preview. Thoughts?

 * Are you using the latest version of Genesis Simple Share (1.0.6)?
 * The newer versions include a fix for the broken twitter button. (Twitter removed
   the counts from their buttons, so the plugin had to be updated to work around
   this.)

 * Ok yes that’s my problem! In the plugins area, it said I had the most recent 
   version (9.9.0), and it wouldn’t let me upgrade there. So I had to delete the
   plugin and reinstall the new version.
 * Twitter button is back.
