The install instructions are really not clear, confusing example. On top, it talks about a bp-twire folder which does not exist in the latest download. Instructions talk as if it’s written for an older install of BP. In this download the parent and an inner folder are both called twire– impossible to see which one goes to themes and which one to the plugin folder. Does the theme twire folder go INTO the bp-default folder or next to it, same level within the bp-themes folder within the buddypress folder? Things like that can really trip someone up trying to install it all.

Alright – the install info here – see above link – are much better then the other ones from the dev’s site. This here makes more sense!

… but, it still breaks my site:

    a) the right widget sidebar goes blank (white)
    b) only thing visible is the ad
    c) no tweets.

I did go through FTP, not cPanel. Curl is enabled.PHP 5.2.11

    Hi,

Is this the latest twire with the latest bp? I’m running it just fine.
If it is let me know and I’ll take a look for you.

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi,

Sorry, I had missed your reply.

Yes, latest Twire with the latest BP – fresh installs from scratch (the site is The Clan Loop

I’ve uninstalled it for now as it breaks the site – though only that page, not the other sections. If you need me to re-install that you can take a look, let me know.

    Thanks!
