twin feeds

I would like for my site to feature two blog feeds side-by-side on the landing page of my website. Ideally, both feeds would have equal prominence. To be clear, I would like to have one blog but with two feeds on the same landing page, related but different topics by the same author.

Is there a widget or template that could allow me to do this? As simply as possible please, still learning my way around WP.
