Support » Theme: Twenty Fourteen » Twentyfourteen Multi-level Menus go off screen

  • Hi, I’m making a new site using twentyfourteen. I’ve implemented multi-level menus in the top navigation. One of my menus has up to 3 levels, but the problem I’m having is that the menus always open on the right side and then go off screen, thus they end up being useless since the viewer cannot see the new menu open up or click on it.

Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? It would be nice if the menu would detect when it’s going off screen and open under the current or on the left side instead so that it is still usable.

    Thanks in advance!

I have a similar problem. Looks like the old peekaboo bug on my site, where the dropdown ends up behind a <div> that appears below it on the page. I’m searching for a hack for it.

    Hello.

I am same problem. Somebody found a solution?

    Thanks 😉

I haven’t had the time to dig into this. I just ended up removing the menu. Let us know if you find anything.

I put the menu a position left but in some resolutions the problem is the same. Maybe I will put in left side bar.

Is there a sensible solution to this problem? There are a whole range of screen sizes where drop down menus don’t appear.

Having the same issue… really don’t want to mess with the original theme code.
