    Creating a child style of twentyfourteen and for some reason the child’s stylesheet isn’t loading at all.

    I’ve done the proper child theme creation and added a few simple css entries:

    /*
    Theme Name: YuGiOh! World 2014
    Theme URI: http://www.yugioh-world.com
    Description: YuGiOh! World 2014 Theme (based on twentyfourteen)
    Author: PPN Studio
    Author URI: http://www.ppnstudio.com
    Version: 1.0.0
    Template: twentyfourteen

    */

    @import url("../twentyfourteen/style.css");

    /* Theme customization starts here */

    /* ----------- MAIN --------------*/

    .site {
    margin: 0 auto !important;
    }

    /* ----------- SIDEBARS and WIDGETS --------------*/

    .widget .widget-title {
      background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #CE002D !important;
      text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    h1.widget-title {
      background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #CE002D !important;
    }

    Any ideas why the child style isn’t working/loading here?

    thanks in advance everyone.

    Try adding this:

    body {
     border: 10px solid red !important;
    }

    Does that work?

    Nope.

    It doesn’t work. I can’t even see the child style css file being loaded in the source code (view source or via firebug)

    Yes, I did a hard refresh [ctrl+F5] and have no cache plugins activated.

    I see a 10px red border on your website, maybe try another browser?

    It’s working for me.

    Strange.. Ok it loaded with the border and my edits after yet another refresh.. Is there a default cache time here messing with me?

    now I removed the border and it’s still showing after a number of ctrl+F5’s

    Try clearing the cache through the browser’s settings.

    I’m guessing your issue is now resolved?

    It was a cdn (cloudflare) the the parent domain was using.. set it to dev mode and all is proper now.

    Thanks for your help and everything.

    Resolved.
