Support » Themes and Templates » TwentyEleven Primary Menu not floating

  • Hello everyone.

    I’m sitting here with a fresh installed WordPress 3.2, and using the default theme TwentyEleven, I’ve edited the css with colors on the menu, works fine in Safari 3+, Firefox 3+, Opera, and Chrome.. And IE9+

    The problem I have is IE7 and 8.. it looks like this:

    The menu ain’t floating and it still have list-style.. I’ve checked CSS and both the #access div, the ul and li’s for the menu is all using float: left;

    Do you guys know how to solve this problem?

    I find it pretty weird it ain’t floating at all

    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

    For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations. Once your child theme is active, we should be able to help with the customisation.

    Ohh okay, I will just backup my current theme, and restore wordpress, and install my theme again, in another name!

    When the new theme is up & running, post a new topic – with the site url – if you are still having menu float (or rather non-float) problems. Someone should be able to help you then.
