    Hi

    The top widget area on the site hhltd.co.uk displays fine on Firefox and IE, but not on Chrome, it cuts off the right side. Tried firebug and nothing seems to work. Can somebody help please?

    Thanks

  • It could be a problem with the box-sizing. From what I’ve experienced Firefox and Chrome are not on the same page as far as box-sizing is concerned. But may be I’m wrong.
    Anyway, I saw your site and came up with a quick fix. Try adding the following to your stylesheet.

    .ftqw2 {
    width: 55px !important;
    }

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for looking. Just tried that and no difference. I changed it to 255px as that is the width it should be.

    I managed to fix it by changing: (moved the box a little to the left)

    .widget-area {
    float: right;
    width: 28.041666667%;
    padding-top: 20px;
    To

    .widget-area {
    float: right;
    width: 28.141666667%;
    padding-top: 20px;

    Oops. My bad. I actually intended to type
    width: 255px !important;
    That was a typo.
