twenty twelve not showing privacty policy or terms of use in footer

    I have been trying to get my privacy and terms of use to go to the footer. I have created a HOME page which is published and a blog that i haven’t published according to the following instruction here http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

    I have the policy and terms in my First Front Page Area Widget but they are not showing up.

    Please let me know what I need to do to fix this.

    Also I have my Akismet activated but I would like to have the comments BOX not be visible how do make it disappear
