Twenty Twelve – Moving the Navigation Bar

Hi,

I am using Twenty Twelve, and have created a child theme. The site is hosted locally on my mac, otherwise I would post a link.

I created a custom header for my site, and I would like the navigation to fall within the header. Is there a way move the navigation bar so it looks like it is a part of the header image.

Or, better yet, how do I create a navigation that does this?
