Twenty Twelve links clickable are screwed up on Android phones

    Well, subject. I’ve just designed a child theme of TwentyTwelve, and while testing on Android phone, noticed that absolutely all links are impossible to click. The problem is that their clickable area is hidden above the actual text.

    After lotsa’ trial-and-error debugging, I found out what the problem was:

    text-rendering: optimizeLegibility

    you would need to change it to

    text-rendering: auto

    otherwise the site will be not usable on Android.

    If anyone had the same problem on other mobile platforms, can you drop a line here?

    I had the very same problem on my 7″ Galaxy Tab – works fine now.

    Did the twenty twelve theme developers never check with Android??
