[Resolved] Twenty Twelve Child – nav bar font, background cuts off left margin

  • 1) How do I change the nav bar font & font color?

    2) I uploaded a seamless background image and it has cut off the left margin of the page. Before I did this, I increased the size of the page to 1000px. With a colored background, it worked fine.

    I’ve looked for several days and tried several different solutions to no avail. I would very much appreciate some help. I’m pretty new to this stuff.

    this is one of the ‘features’ of Twenty Twelve;

    if the custom background color is set to #ffffff (white) then the padding and shadow of the center is removed.

    goto dashboard – appearance – background and set the custom background color to #fffffe or anything else than #ffffff (this will be covered by your background image)

    Thanks for your help. Such a simple fix, it worked like a charm.
