Support » Alpha/Beta » [Resolved] [Twenty Thirteen] Sidebar widget breaks footer
3 years, 7 months ago
Hello, when using a “secondary widget area” widget, the footer breaks.
I have 2 screenshot, one with using a “secondary widget area” widget and one without.
I apologize if this is already reported/fixed
Hi Sotam, could you share the full URL to test this? Or maybe take full page screenshots?
Hi Lance! I’d like to share the full URL, but I’m testing on localhost.. however, I have full screenshots now and the HTML source code. If that ain’t enough I’ll set-up a 3.6 Beta1 that’s accessible 🙂
full size screenshots + source code;

– without: http://i.imgur.com/sbDZCMX.png
I hope this helps 🙂
Thanks, the extra context is very helpful.
This looks as expected, to me. When a sidebar is present, the footer widgets will re-align to allow space for the sidebar, because if the sidebar is long enough it will overlap the footer widget area.
So, in other words — this is intentional, and not a bug.

A ‘minor’ question:
How do I even get the sidebar to show. Can’t seem to find the option.
