Twenty Thirteen image text wrap issue?

    I’m a WordPress newbie. I install, all works OK. Create first post. Drop in some plain text in a post. upload a 180×180 test image. Place the image midway in the first paragraph. Save. Looks good. Text wraps whole image. Go back into image file, add a caption. Save. Bam! image is now pushed to the top of that paragraph and there is a large empty space below the image caption.

    Kill out the post. Create a new one. Try same thing. Same results. Trash the image file and create a new, plain vanilla .jpg. Upload. Try the insert and caption. Same results. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

    In this instance, I created one post with image, no caption in it. See http://govtron.com/?p=25

    Then, I created a second post with same text and same image but then I added a caption to it it. See http://govtron.com/?p=28. In this one, adding the caption also caused the in-paragraph word wrap to break and also added a very large blank space below the caption.

    This is brand-new, plain vanilla WordPress install. I just opened Twenty Thirteen and tried to create a post with an image and caption.

    The the in-paragraph word wrap us not broken and the blank space below the caption if part of this theme’s layout/design. There’s no bug here.

    Oh – and btw – you’re using Twenty Twelve – not Twenty Thirteen.

    Try looking at this again: http://govtron.com/archives/28 . The image was inserted into the middle of a sentence in a multi sentence paragraph. A correct wrap would not break that sentence and you can see here that it DOES break the sentence. I’m trying to figure out how to get a clean, correct wrap and still don’t understand why simply adding caption text suddenly breaks the wrap.
