    Hello,

    I am building a child theme for the Twenty Thirteen theme.

    I have an issue with the genericon.
    When i use the html methode, it work perfectly. At the contraring, with the css method, it shows an ugly font.

    For exemple on this sample page: here

    I use for genericon-tumblr:
    Copy CSS
    content: ‘\f214’;
    > it doesn’t work!

    I use for genericon-draggable:
    Copy Html
    <span class=”genericon genericon-draggable”></span>
    > it works perfectly!

    Maybe i missed something.
    Could it be a conflit with another font or plugin?
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you in advance,
    jB

    It sounds like it’s working correctly, actually. Genericons is designed that you can use the HTML method to insert the icons without having to mess with anything. The CSS method is used when you want more control over icon placement or you want to place the icon somewhere where a <span> tag wouldn’t work. For example, you could do something like:

    a:after {
        font-family: Genericons;
        content: \f214;
    }

    and the icon would automatically be shown after all of your <a> tags.

    Hello stephen,

    I feel so stupid.
    Thank you very much for your message.

    It’s resolved!
