A lot of pages will be added as times goes
real pages or do you mean posts?
for posts,
pagination works by default with Tenty Ten.
what are the customizations you have done?
a common cause is, that custom queries neglect to use the paged
parameter ( http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/query_posts#Pagination_Parameters )
for instance, just as an example:
<?php
$paged = (get_query_var('paged')) ? get_query_var('paged') : 1;
$args = array(
'posts_per_page' => 9, // optional to overwrite the dashboard setting
'paged' => $paged
);
query_posts($args);
?>
As I understand it you are talking more in Page Numbers for posts?
I have written a WP-PageNavi example for the Twenty Ten theme.
Pick through this tutorial if you need a cut down version just let me know!

yes you’re both right I am amaking reference to posts rather than pages. @alchymyth, I didn’t modify any core features of the twenty ten just mostly styling and adding divs here and there match my mockup. @adeptris I will try the sugestions you sugested, thanks for all your help – I will try these things out and get back to you guys.
Thanks a bunch
Thanks for your example, alchymyth. This was exactly the trouble that I was having.
