    I run a guitar instructional website and encouraging community interaction is really important to me… however… the LEAVE A COMMENT link is this tiny little link buried in the tags of each post… is there a way to make this a word balloon like Ive seen on some other themes or else much more eligible? I feel a lot of people don’t realize they can comment if they are reading my posts off the home page (since it doesn’t include the large reply box there).

  • if you include a link to the site to see what exactly you mean, Im sure someone will be able to point you in the right direction.
    You will see the latest post, the social network buttons… then under that are the tags in a smaller font… right at the end is the Leave A Comment link in the same font and size as the tags… I’d like to make it much more noticeable… even place it somewhere a little more obvious.

    If you just want to change the size of the text and do some style changes to “Leave a comment”, you can add the following to the Stylesheet (style.css) file found in Appearance > Editor.

    .comments-link a {
    Put your CSS here

    For example, this will change the font to size 18px and turn the color red:

    .comments-link a {
    font-size: 18px;
    color: #88000;

    It is best to create a child theme if you are going to start modifying a theme, this way if update the theme you do not erase your theme changes. Child Theme info –

    To move the “Leave a comment” to a different location requires changing the code of the theme a little. If you post a request on where you want it, I am sure someone will post it up to help you out.
