Support » Themes and Templates » twenty ten theme & post spacing issues

  • hi all,

ive been playing with the new twenty10 theme in wp3.0 , i have a quick question that really is buggin me now.

If you look at the default theme there is roughly a 30px space between the “posted on….” and the start of the post text. and again after the end of the post text the same spacing is there between the post text and the closing “posted in …category.. 1 comment..edit”

anyone any ideas which CSS effects this spacing. I presume somewhere there must be a line-height or padding etc but whatever I try and alter in the style.css sheet nothing seems to change it.

    hope someone can help

    thanks

    TED x

  • I think I’m having the same issue as you. Did you ever figure it out?

Don’t edit the Twenty Ten theme! Your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.

Thank you esmi, I understand this.

Same problem. After two hours of looking through my code. It turned out I was hitting enter after my posts…..
