Support » Fixing WordPress » Twenty Ten Stylesheet Pointing to www but Shouldn't Be

  • I woke up this morning to my site super sluggish and most of the time without styles, images, search box, etc., just links. I called Bluehost, my hosting provider and he said the style sheet was pointing to http://www.glutenfreerecipebox.com instead of http://glutenfreerecipebox.com. When he changed the setting under Settings -> General in the Admin Panel my site works fine. However, I have it listed all over the place, including Google Webmaster Tools without the www. My site is my livelihood and I cannot afford to have Google upset with me (though I know they prefer that I “do” use the www. However, they usually penalize me when I make a huge change like this. Last month my site had almost 112,000 visitors and I don’t want to mess this up. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get the stylesheet to point back to http://glutenfreerecipebox.com instead of the www? I haven’t made any changes or updates in the last 36 hours on my blog. So, I am totally baffled. I am using Twenty Ten Theme and Thirty Ten Child Theme. Thanks!
