  • Go into theme and add your images to image folder and call them in your header

But my theme is a child theme so maybe i will have problems with updates on wordpress if i do that way. Or am i wrong?

You are only calling from the image folder,or create a new one and call that folder . You can change back if you like .

    Hi,
Have a look at this function from Arron Jorb, just put it in the child themes functions.php

I added that function and upload the images that i want in my header through the admin panel.
Now the defauld header images doesn’t apper, but i still have a doubt.
With an wordpress update, will the images i added be removed?

I din’t added them to the folders, just did the upload.

    Hello
Go into theme and add your images to image folder and call them in your header

    [ Signature moderated. ]

The Appearance > Header > Uploded Header Images, details are stored in the wp-post and wp-post-meta table, these are used by wordPress, they are theme specific, so your child theme will not show uploded header images from the parent.

Upgrading the parent will not affect your child theme code, uploaded images and headers, howevere changing the theme to parent or another child theme will not transfer the headers.

So how can i guarantee that the iages i want in the header will not be replaced or removed when i update the wordpress?
