Twenty Fourteen- how to make the featured posts appear?

    I am using twenty fourteen, and I can’t get the three featured posts to appear at the top, which looks really nice in the demo. How can I get those?

    Going to bump this thread. According to the info I’ve looked up, you are supposed to tag the posts as ‘featured’ and that will make them pop up. This is not happening for me. Any help is much appreciated!!!

    Go to your Dashboard, click on Appearance > Customize, and then click on the panel marked “Featured Content”. Make sure that “featured” is listed in the text box marked “Tag Name”.

    There is no text box there…

    Could you take a screenshot of the “Featured Content” panel and post it somewhere like imgur?
