  • hi, im using wordpress w/wp-ecommerce with xampp
    -im using the twenty eleven theme
    -my layout is ‘content on left’
    -on the sidebar i have a categories link, login etc and shopping cart
    i have two pages atm, a home and store page – on these two pages the layout is fine, everything is where its supposed to be.
    my problem is when i open the page of a of any of my products, the image and text move to the centre and the sidebar gets move to bottom.

    any idea on how i can fix this so the pages of the products are the same as my home and store pages?

    many thanks

    Twenty Eleven has its own system for controlling the sidebar layout;

    how have you added the sidebar to the ‘page of a of any of my products’?

    under ‘appearance’ i chose default layout ‘content on left’

    it looks fine on my two main pages ‘home’ and ‘store’, but on the pages of the products, the content is all central, the sidebar is still on the side but at the bottom cos the content is in the middle taking up all the space

    Twenty Eleven will have a ‘Sidebar Template’ page template, which you can attribute to static pages;
    (it does not have a sidebar with single posts)

    ‘the page of a of any of my products’ – is that a single post or a static page?

    if you haven’t edited any of the theme files or styles, then there might be an error in the original theme; try to contact the theme author

    okay ive been researching, but still cant find anything decent. heres a pic ive uploaded,

    the product content should be to the left but instead its in the middle.
