Twenty Eleven – Menu Hover – Show All Menu Items

    @bmoran007

    I want to change the Menu Hover option in Twenty Eleven.

    When I hover over the a Menu option I would like to see all of the Menu Options for all parent pages and all their children. There will only be two levels.

    There is an example of what I am trying to achieve at http://www.ul.ie (University of Limerick).

    I have spent ages trawling the internet and no assistance any where so far.

    Regards

    Brendan

    Do not edit the Twenty Eleven theme. It is the default WordPress 3.2 theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues. Create a child theme for your changes.

    Yes – you need to amend the CSS. Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of work.

    I know I need to amend the CSS. I use Chrome and Dreamweaver.

    I need help somewhere around #access hover section.

    #access li:hover > a,
    #access ul ul :hover > a,
    #access a:focus {
    background: #efefef;
    }
    #access li:hover > a,
