    Got a notification on my dashboard that updates are available for TwentyTwelve and TwentyEleven themes. The Appearance>Themes page link that says "view version 1.6 details" doesn't actually provide a listing of the differences, just brings up a window with http://wordpress.org/themes/twentyeleven. A forum member summarized them for TwentyTwelve in http://wordpress.org/support/topic/twenty-twelve-12-release-notes. I can't figure out how to get the info from the Trac interface.

    1. Can someone help and provide the TwentyEleven differences?

    2. Why don't themes have a Changelog like plugins do?

  2. The changelog is entirely up to the theme developer. As with core themes the changelog is usually when they commit the changes using version control ( Subversion ) so there is a message as to why some things were changed and why.

    Quick look tells me:
    - function added: *get_first_url()
    - function added: *get_gallery_images()
    - JavaScript edit: changed html() to text()
    - Minor CSS edits

    http://themes.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?old_path=/twentyeleven/1.5&new_path=/twentyeleven/1.6 is the diff view
